Great condo in a great location. The condo was roomy and comfortable enough for our party of five. The view from the condo is beyond AMAZING! Loved watching the surfers and listening to the sound of the waves at all hours. The only negative was the number of towels/washcloths provided for each guest. Since there was a limited number, we were doing laundry every day. The location of the condo was convenient to all of our outings and we loved being close to Front Street.
We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time at the condo. The only draw back is you are the farthest away from all the ammentities - pools, tennis courts, etc. The condo has an absolutely stunning view. You do hear quite a bit of road noise in the back bedroom. But the front bedroom is amazing. The bed faces the ocean and what a way to wake up in the morning! Condo is equipped with just about everything you could need or want - we did grill quite a bit on the patio.

This condo in the gated community of Pua’mana is fabulous. High end appliances in the kitchen, amazing lanai off the Master bedroom. Saw Honu everyday, paddle boarded daily(we brought our own board), snorkeled. The property had beach chairs and umbrellas. Made fantastic meals and also went to Lahaina town. Kimo’s is the best. Perfect place to celebrate a 25th Wedding Anniversary, College and HS graduation as a family of four. ️

The unit itself is quite lovely, but the location is not that great. Beach access is a bit of a walk as is the pools. Beach is very rocky and not great for swimming. What is really annoying is all of the community rules. The quiet rule in particular was annoying, it made for stress full stay. The views were excellent.

When the doctor says to you before a procedure to ”Go to your Happy Place”, this is the place you want to go to! The location if perfect, the community is perfect, and most of all the property is perfect. Set at the very end of the community, it is nestled quietly away. It is directly adjacent to Puamona Beach Park which is currently closed so the privacy is even more than normal. Waking up to the sounds of the ocean crashing and the beautiful sunrises are perfect and early morning walks on the very private beach are the things dreams are made of. This is our second visit and the property was updated since we were last there in 2018. Absolutely nothing bad to say. Already planning the next stay.

We stayed in Puamana 272-6 to celebrate Christmas and our 25th wedding anniversary for our first visit ever to Maui, and the condo exceeded our expectations. We were footsteps from the water, such that every morning we saw whales, turtles, boats ans paddle boarders with our morning coffee on the patio. My husband surfed every morning in front of the condo, and I took a pleasant stroll into Lahaina (3 miles round trip) most days. We had every amenity we needed in the fully stocked unit, and the clubhouse was beautifully decorated for the holiday. It was a perfect alternative to the high rise resort scene in other parts of West Maui.

Every morning we wake up by roosters crows, go straight to the beach.
Very good condition for surfing and SUP in the morning time.

The view was amazing - waking up to whales, turtles and the tide was absolutely perfect!!! However with having the beach access right next to the unit, people would always be walking in front of the property allowing no privacy whatsoever. The location was just okay too - very last unit means driving all the back through the subdivision. However it was right down the road from many shops and restaurants, Big plus! The residence had dirt stained sheets, electrical switches falling out of the wall, and the kitchen cabinets were hard to use. Plus it gets really hot due to sun beating in from the west. Not to mention the frequency of the surrounding chickens crowing at all hours. Overall, the property was great for what I needed, made lots of memories, just needs some more upkeep and maintenance.

The condo at 272-6 Puamana exceeded all expectations. It was absolutely beautiful, and immaculately clean. Nothing could compare with the views and sleeping to the sound of the sea just outside the door. When a whale and her calf breached the surface just beyond our lanai, our vacation was complete! Large sea turtles swam just below the surface along the shore as we watched from the perfect vantage point. It was indeed, a perfect vacation rental.

This piece of Paradise is perfectly spot on. The oceanfront location is close to the city but private, with beach access steps away. The small gated community escapes the vacation crowds of resorts and provides an at home feeling. Inside the condo, all in house needs were met from full kitchen, bed and bath, to lanai outside furnishings and sports equipment. The condo is the last one in the complex, nestled up against a barrier of shrubbery and trees to give a quiet, peaceful setting with breath taking views of the ocean. The management company was easy to deal with and gave precise information on checkin and checkout procedures along with details of the amenities located on property and their specific rules of occupancy. We loved a Blue Hawaiian Helicopter tour of the island and downloaded Maui for $10 which took us on several days of driving tours complete with commentary of history, island culture and easy to follow road driving directions. We also loved the food and take out options of Leoda's Kitchen, a few miles down the road on Route 30, making it handy to eat at "home" to enjoy the cozy lanai dining setting. There are many excellent restaurant options in Lahaina with a list of recommendations given in the unit. There was nothing left for us to fuss or worry about and was indeed...A PERFECT Vacation Rental!!

Lahaina is the place to stay when visiting Maui. Lots of exploring, Good food, and snorkeling. The ocean was right outside, got to watch surfers all day long. It was very nice having the outdoor shower and our own BBQ. Breathtaking view out the master bedroom with a perfect sunset every evening. Can't wait to go back.

My family enjoyed our stay in this amazing condo. The location, views, and convenience are top notch! We enjoyed watching the sea turtles in the waves just beyond the patio. We also enjoyed watching people surf and paddle board all day. The sunsets are the prettiest I have ever seen. The owners provide guest with beach towels, boogie boards, and beach chairs, which are greatly appreciated. The property manager Rick was quick to respond to any issues we had....which was also greatly appreciated. The condo complex is nicely maintained. My only complaint is that the resident rooster like to wake up a little after 4:00am. But, I can deal with this. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes, utensils, and pots & pans. The condo layout is very family friendly and user friendly. We spent numerous hours on the patio just taking in our surroundings. Thanks for having us! We have such great memories of Lahaina that will stay with forever.

The house was lovely, clean and in a good location near restaurants and shopping. Breakfast on the patio with an ocean view was a highlight! Parking was convenient and safe in the gated community. There were many good Maui reference books in the condo we used to plan our week. We were disappointed that we could not access the beach from our backyard, there was a rope barrier (not pictured on the web-site) and we had to walk around through a parking lot.

The home and grounds at Puamana
resort in Lahaina, HI was absolutely beautiful and very relaxing. The amenities were perfect and staff were all very nice and helpful. the only problems we had was that the air conditioning quit on Fri afternoon a there is no one in resort office on weekends. There was no one to help get A/C back on or to give me my deposit back for key to gym when we checked out on Sat. Since it was unusually hot at the time, some family members suffered through a very hot night and Sat morning until we left. Still, I would choose to go back to same location if ever visiting HI again. Mahalo!

The location couldn't be better! We snorkeled, swam, & surfed right in front of the condo while others relaxed on the lanai. We were able to listen to the ocean at night while relaxing in the very comfortable bed. The condo had updated furnishing and decor, as well as all of the kitchen amenities needed for our Maui vacation including beach chairs and boogey boards.
The on-site manager, Rick, was very attentive and helpful, answering our texts within minutes. The check-in process was exceptional, with a great App for managing our stay down to WiFi and gate codes. Very easy and user-friendly!
Don't settle for oceanview, be front row and center! We will definitely be back!!

We chose our vacation rental online, and found out we'd work through APVR. From the first step until the last, APVR was wonderful. The description, photos, (and even a video!) of the rental were informative. Once we arrived, we discovered the description was accurate. The rental was clean, stocked with all conveniences, and actually better than expected. It's about 25 feet from the rental to the ocean. The sound of the waves is constant, even loud, but you get used to it, and learn to love it. (Now that I'm home, I miss the sound of waves crashing!)
APVR gave us complete instructions for every step of the way. And they were available at all times, plus gave us a local contact (a concierge.) My family thinks APVR went above & beyond what is expected from a vacation rental company. We would recommend them, and this particular vacation home, to everyone.

This trip was our family's 1st trip to Maui, so we packed a lot in, and did many of the touristy things. We ziplined, took a sunset dinner cruise, drove "the road to Hana", took a boat snorkel tour to Molokini Crater & Turtle Town, went paddle boarding (right outside our rental!) We also drove to Haleakala National Park (a beautiful rain forest area.)
We ate many meals in, BBQ'ing and eating on the ocean front patio. (We were happy to learn there's a Costco near the airport.) We went out to a few restaurants: Lahaina Fish Co, Pi Artisan Pizzeria, Paia Fish Market (really good, affordable fish tacos,) Fleetwood's, Kimo's. All activities & restaurants had excellent service & great food.

We recommend booking all you can online ahead of time, as activites & restaurants fill up fast. (We booked 1 to 2 weeks early.)

This rental was pretty awesome. They provided beach chairs, beach towels, even a cooler bag for cold drinks and food to take to the beach.
Im one that has to sleep with a fan on at night in order to fall asleep, well I just left the door open so I could hear the waves crash. Now Im a bit spoiled to it. The location of the condo was pretty good. Not too far away from Lahaina, maybe a 5 minute drive.

During April 2018, we spent eight nights in Puamana 272-6 with our family, including two young boys. Our stay was unbelievable; there couldnt be a better location. 272-6 is only a few steps from the ocean and, as one of our grandsons stated, Its like living on a boat. The convenient location allowed us to surf and boogie board two to three times a day, snorkel, play on the beach, paddle board, spend time at the swimming pool, and take leisurely strolls to Lahaina for dinner, or to enjoy events in the quaint town. The home was clean, well maintained and nicely furnished. The central A/C was nice and quiet during the warm days when the ocean breeze diminished. The APVR staff was friendly, courteous and helpful before, during and after our stay. Their Hospitality app contained useful information about the home and fun things to do in the area. Overall, it was a wonderful stay in a beautiful home and incomparable location. We will definitely return to 272-6 for more fun in the sun and surf.

We initially had some concerns about noise because it was at the end of the road in the community and next door to the park, but those turned out to be completely unfounded. Very quiet except for the sound of the surf which is literally 100 feet outside your door. In the morning enjoy watching surfers, whales and turtles from the lanai. We had a problem with the WiFi and the property manager responded immediately Great trip and a great experience at 272-6.

So lets say a good 5 minutes. Same with a pool. We were a good 5 minutes walk from the pool. 10 minute walk to the clubhouse. The town of Lahaina is about a 5 minute drive. Id say its too far to walk unless you love to walk :). And the road you would walk is VERY narrow, so it be hard with kids. My hot water wasnt working very well during the trip. I learned it is heated by solar, but our tub water would not get hot. After having it checked and worked on, the shower in the master bedroom started working fine, but still no tub. Im sure this will be fixed soon though. Also, as convenient a Kerig is, in Hawaii I want to drink Hawaii coffee. It really is amazing. You cant find Hawaii Maui or Kona coffee in the pods. We ended up buying a cheap coffee pot from Walgreens and leaving it in the condo. Hopefully the owners leave it too. Also, it would be nice to know about the beach extras that are in the condo ahead of time. There were 2 beach chairs and a small ice chest which I wished we know about ahead of time. The chairs were on an outdoor closet. Overall I loved this place, and we would totally go back.

My kids and I truly enjoyed our stay!

the unit is very comfortable with amazing views. The location is great, right next to a beach access. There are many amazing beaches just a short drive away. We have two young kids so it was great to stumble upon a monk seal beached on the sand, as well as two big turtles just a hand reach away.
The only draw back is the kids bedroom backs onto a highway and is very loud throughout the night even with the windows closed. The kids got used to it after a couple of days. Overall a great place we will definitely visit again.

Was my first time not in a hotel and I was nervous about staying at a place with no reviews. So me or the condo had never been rated. It was crazy awesome to be right on the water in such a gorgeous community. Im actually thinking of buying in there. Location is so convenient to the town and so much to do near by. Beach is beautiful but dont think you can take long walks on it. The water comes right up to the units. Thats what makes it cool though. I really wanted to point out how awesome the management team was. Maintenance, cleaners, and David the manger are seriously on their game. I own a large management company so I truly know the difference. Everyone says I have to say something negative so here it is. The master balcony is not private enough to be naked on during the day! UGH! LOL For the price it was way worth it and the unit has everything you need to chill and relax. I will be back.
