We had a wonderful trip for five. This location gave us an awesome view and easy access to pool, beach, & Lahaina. We did scuba, snorkeling, helicopter tour, zip lining, luau, dinner at Merriman's in Kapalua, hiked Waihee Ridge Trail & sunrise at Haleakala Crater. Needless to say an awesome trip while staying at Lahaina & Wailea for 5 days each!

What a lovely property and well-appointed place to stay! We really enjoyed that we could easily walk to the oceanside pool, that we could sit on the deck upstairs and look at the stars, and that our little one could play on the grass by the ocean. We would have taken more advantage of the lanai if there was some sort of screen out there to help block the sun at dinnertime; it was not exactly perfect for our family of 5 to eat together inside since there is not a dining table but we managed just fine. We would love to return but will likely book directly through the property in the future as the VRBO fee felt excessive and unnecessary.

You could not ask for a better location. The ocean is literally right outside your backyard. This was a memorable family vacation, with 3 generations. House had all necessary amenities to make our stay fell like home. Sitting outside on the patio, either for breakfast or to watch the sunset with loved ones will stay in the heart forever. Great hosts making sure all was well. Hope to be able to return!

This was our third time staying at this property and it was perfect! From the booking through the departure everything was easy. The views from the front door, the lanai, the downstairs bedroom and the master suite are breathtaking! The kitchen has everything needed to prepare both simple and gourmet meals. All four of the bathrooms are spacious and elegant. The master shower has a skylight and a window view of the ocean. Fabulous! The beds were all very comfortable and although the third bedroom is small without a dresser, there was a shelf in the closet for folding clothes. The televisions were large and the programming was excellent, including ALL the sports channels and most of the premium channels as well. Dave and Cathy thought of everything from elegant ceiling fans to plush beach towels to labeling light switches to make our stay both comfortable and memorable. We loved it and will return again to “our” perfect piece of paradise!

We were a party of 6 adults, and we were all very happy with the vacation rental. The property is about a 15 minute walk to downtown Lahaina - we highly recommend Down the Hatch for somewhere casual to eat or Pacific'O for a little fancier dining.

The property has a large lanai with plenty of seating, so we all enjoyed sitting outside and listening to the sound of the ocean. Unfortunately the shoreline, within 25 feet of the house, is all rocks, so we could not swim right there. But the main pool was very nice, and there is a small sandy beach not too far from the main pool. The only downside to the property is that there is only 1 main living space in the home, so it wasn't very comfortable when all 6 of us wanted to be inside.

The home was very clean. The kitchen was well appointed for those who want to save some money by cooking a few meals "at home". There is 1 bedroom on the main floor that is good for anyone who has trouble going up and down stairs. The bathroom in that bedroom is your typical tub/shower combination.

The property managers are very helpful and nice. Our original reservation (for another property) was for July 2020, and Cathy was very helpful in getting our reservation changed to July 2021 at this property.

We would have no reservations about staying there again!

We stayed in 58-2 oceanfront unit for a week in July. The unit is as shown in the pictures and we felt it was perfect accommodations for our family of 5. We used the kitchen and outside grill plenty and found the unit well stocked. The orientation of the unit makes it very private compared to elsewhere in the community. We seldom saw people staying in the adjacent units even when we put our patio chairs on the grassy area. We had easy access to the ocean for paddle boarding a few units down to the right, although it is not perfectly calm water as other have mentioned. We also enjoyed watching the surfers off to the left which had plenty of waves. Dave and Cathy were very responsive to any questions we asked of them. I would certainly stay in Puamana again and have recommended it to others.

Property is as shown in the pictures, but just be aware that it has a mirrored wall so you might fool yourself into thinking it's twice as wide as it is. The water is literally 10 feet away, but a large rock beach that you can't really enjoy. Each room has an A/C unit, but because the sun shines in the afternoon on that property and it has a second story, the master bedroom unit labors to keep cool. The condo property is managed very well. Lots of rules, but they keep it nice.

It was great having a tree in the yard for extra shade (and a covered lanai), and the home had a beautiful kitchen and baths, comfortable furniture, games for kids, and was close to the clubhouse and pools.

Loved how they had supplies and such for us to use - that was really thoughtful as one VROB we stayed at in S Carolina didn’t even have a dish rag for us to use! Nice walk into Lahaina if you are a walker. Really recommend this property.

This house was well suited for our family of 6 (3 couples). It was nice to have a bathroom with each bedroom so we could always get ready quickly. We enjoyed sitting outside every morning and evening to the gorgeous scenery. The property manager was helpful with any questions.

We had a great 2 week stay in 58-2 at the end of July and would recommend the unit without hesitation. The unit clean and a decent size for 6 adults. Upstairs bed were comfortable and firm while the downstairs king was on the soft side. Upstairs bathrooms are spacious but the queen room is a bit tight. If your splitting costs, one couple is apt to want to pay less as a result. The air conditioning barely keeps up during the day but is adequate to get the whole place cool by bedtime. Appliances are modern and clean. The only issue is that the ice machine has a heard time keeping up when 6 people are drinking. Only other minor drawback is that the only table capable of sitting 6 is on the lanai. We ate meals and played games there all evening but should the weather be foul you may have an issue. The Puamana property is nice and well kept. The pools are clean and had adequate lounging chairs while we were there but in the busier winter month they might be hard to find. Although the pools areas have restrictive rules - no phones, music, floats or generally having fun (no Marco Polo sign in the north pool)...families with kids made use of them with no one complaining. The number of Puamana facility rules and associated fines, was a bit of a running joke to us. But don't worry - everyone was very friendly and laid back. I'm sure their intended only as a deterrent with problem guests. It's location was excellent as well. It's a 15 min walk to 505 Front for bars and shopping and another 5 minutes to the banyan tree. being on the south end of town means avoiding town traffic when coming from the south and easy access to I3000 to bypass the town of going north.

This place is amazing! This was our second time staying at this property so we were expecting it to be beautiful but it exceeded our expectations. It is fabulous!, The gourmet kitchen was so well stocked, we were able to enjoy many meals on the lanai looking and listening to the ocean. The views were breathtaking! This definitely is paradise! There are exceptional ocean views from the master suite and the downstairs bedroom also. The booking process was easy and the owners and staff (Dave, Cathy and Rick) were both professional and friendly yet allowed us the liberty to make this OUR home for our 16 day stay. We loved every moment except when it was time to leave! We have recommended this unit to our friends and plan on returning to “our” Maui home soon.thank you so much!!

Beautiful setting; very clean (though could have done without the tiny ants). A 5 minute stroll to the beach, and even closer to the pool. Easy access to Lahaina.

The photo is deceiving the trees have grown and there are bushes that partially hide the ocean view. The master bedroom's blind were mostly broken and the bath towels in all the bathrooms were moldy smelling. They could use some of the expensive rent money and just buy new towels.

My husband and I and two other couples wanted to escape the chaos back home. This rental was perfect for us! Great condition, clean and comfortable. Everything was provided, which was a must with the long flight we had. The rental company answered all my questions in advance and was available while we were visiting. Lahaina is a beautiful town and right up the street. The development had the best ocean side pool and the back porch view from the rental at sunset was breathtaking. Thank you!

This incredible ocean front condo could not be closer to the ocean. It is situated for beautiful coffee on the lanai in the shade in the morning and stunning sunsets in the evening. Puamana is an extraordinary location and this is one of the best units there.

We love Puamana and this condo in particular! Both Dave and/or Rick were always available for any questions. Dave was on top of the approaching hurricane and what to expect should we need to evacuate. We did, but because of wild fires and not ocean surges! Fortunately, this unexpected excitement came at the end of our trip. We will always book this condo when we come to Maui with our family! Amazing location, lovely furnishings. Hard to beat waking up every morning with the Pacific on your doorstep. Easy walk into Lahaina. Highly recommend.

We had two families and could not have asked for a better place to stay. The house had a view that is beyond incredible. The owners/ manager was a delight from beginning to end. The home is very clean, updated and has everything you need for an amazing vacation. My only regret is that I did not book this condo for our entire stay

So happy that my research led me to Puamana and Our Perfect vacation web site. Everything was as described and I would leave no hesitation in recommending the property to others.
We have travelled a lot and no longer like to stay at resorts or hotels except for a day or two.
To be able to unpack and move into a home for 10 days was perfect for our family get together.
58-2 is so well fitted out with everything we needed. It was great having a washer, dryer etc but the best part of all is the view which hits you as soon as you walk in.

The property description and pictures are spot on. We were so pleased with the cleanliness and location of the condo. It was well equipped, tasteful, and comfortable. I would definitely stay at this location again! You can walk to La Haina about a 15-20 minute walk or a 5 minute drive. We hung at the pool and saw a whale breaching! There is a sandy about 5 minutes walk at the end of the property or a great public beach in front of the La Haina Hotel a 4 minute drive away.

Our third stay at 58-2. Every trip is a treat. The condo was once again spotless, with everything in great working order. The whale watching from the lenai was the highlight of the trip. We will keep coming back, as this is now our go-to place.

Thoroughly enjoy this updated, elegant, tastefully decorated unit. Fully stocked and well equipped kitchen. The unit was very clean and on the property manager provided quick replies for any questions we asked..exemplary service! Furniture was extremely comfortable as well. Loved that we could walk into Lahaina each day. We went this time of year to see the whales. Can see them all day long from the lani which is only 30 feet from the water. Also loved the
pool which overlooked the ocean. Would definitely recommend this unit to

The location was wonderful. Spectacular views. This is a beautiful unit with updated kitchen and baths. We were not too pleased that we had maintenance work being done for two days in a row. We also had lots of problems with tiny ants getting into everything in the kitchen. Not sure if this a normal problem on the island or just with this unit.

Perfect get away with friends

We have stayed in many Puamana condos throughout the years, including other properties owned by the Medinas. This one was large and well equipped with amenities. It really came down to the small things, we ran into some plumbing issues, which were resolved in a very fast manor, the remaining needed to be fixed when we left. It was obvious some cleaning has been missed, the walls upstairs were very dusty and dirty, and there was an ant problem (to be fair weve had this in others- they are an invasive species on the islands). Other than the cosmetic, we had no issues and had a wonderful time. We would come back to this condo in an instant.

Great townhome for a family with 3 bedrooms that each had their own bathroom, along with an additional half bath downstairs. This place had everything we needed. It was well cared for and very clean. I have already recommended it to several people.

We had a wonderful vacation at 58-2 and highly recommend this property. This unit is beautifully decorated and has gorgeous ocean views. We enjoyed being able to have coffee on the patio and cocktails in the evening. The home is well decorated and has all the amenities you would need. The house was very clean and well maintained. There was one issue with the power and they addressed it right away (5 stars on the customer service). The only downside was the master bed. It needs to be replaced. Overall our family would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a wonderful vacation in Maui.

This place was exactly like the pictures. We had an amazing time and did not want to leave. The location is perfect and close to Lahaina.

The only negative was the upstairs master bed was not comfortable and had dips on both sides that hurt my back.

58-2 truly made our vacation perfect! We stayed for 9 incredible nights and it was beautiful and very comfortable for 5 adults. The finishes and furnishings were attractive and of high quality. The beds comfortable and the kitchen very well stocked with every thing need to prepare, cook and serve any meal with style. The lanai was perfect for dining al fresco or just relaxing and reading. Being just steps away from the water and being lulled by the crashing waves made everything seem even more special. The view was beautiful & the palm trees were perfect for hanging the hammock we brought. We all commented that there could not be a more perfect place for us to have stayed. The accommodations, location and onsite support from Rick, if needed, lacked nothing! I hope to have the pleasure of returning to Lahaina and 58-2 Puamana Place. We would definitely use this as a home base again. It put us a short distance from many areas of the island we wanted to explore, although we could have never left Lahaina and been perfectly content. Lahaina had much to offer with the local people being the best. Everyone was so genuinely friendly!

We have stayed at Puamana three times now. 58-2 was the by far the nicest place. Very clean and well kept. So nice to sit on the lanai and have your morning coffee or 5:00 p.m. cocktail. Very relaxing. Staff was very nice. The pools were fun and relaxing as well. We found it helpful and nice that we were close enough to town to walk. Would recommend this place highly.

This was the perfect setting for our Christmas away. There were 6 adults (3 couples) so the sleeping arrangement was well appointed--the bathrooms are huge! We loved the peaceful setting with no foot traffic along the shore. We did venture out over the rocks to launch our stand up paddle boards, kneeing it as it is shallow until the white pole where there is a break in the reef. The guys surfed a few times/day from the property on the other side of the pool. Great mellow crowd--no local territory tension. The house is so well designed and decorated. There are binoculars to view the whale spouts/breaching. The kitchen is very well stocked with all the essential dishes/cooking items, and spices. It's wonderful to have a washer and dryer--especially for the beach towels. The air conditioning came in handy too. The club house staff is wonderful if you want to borrow bocce ball, tennis or badminton items. It's a long walk into Lahaina, renting bikes would be the way to go. The only minus, very minor detail, is not supplying bath soap, shampoo and conditioner. We are looking forward to staying here again!!

Wonderful....3 separate suites (2 king and 1 queen) each with own bathroom ....privacy for 3 couples. Beautiful unit. No dining room table, but large table on lanai. We ate all meals there - enjoying the ocean only steps away. There is seating in kitchen at the island, also. Excellent instructions regarding checkin/checkout, things to do, operation of utilities, etc. Very accommodating on late check out to make our airline flights more manageable.Lots of kitchen utensils/gadgets and spices/cooking oils already there. Would have liked a few more bath towels/handtowels/washcloths and available resupply of facial tissue.. Pretty much perfect vacation unit!

This is a beautiful rental in a beautiful location. We spent a majority of our time on the lanai watching the ocean and the waves. We plan on returning in the future.

very nice. Unit 252 Perfect for our needs. Only suggestion is to NOT charge for the 'gym' it was not worth going to for an extra fee. There was a $5 fee then the front desk said it was $10 and then they charged the tax on top of it.

We were scheduled to stay in 58-2, but that unit had an issue with the air conditioner. The owner called us a few days prior to our arrival to give us an option to stay in 225-2. I think this unit, even though it is a little smaller, was an upgrade. The view from this unit is spectacular. The lanai is 12 - 15' from the ocean and has a direct view of the island of Lanai. It was just my wife and I and we so enjoyed the unit. We were very pleased with the number of sea turtles that were swimming in the ocean just off the back of the property. We could see 5-6 at a time. The location of the property was excellent. It is only 5 minutes to downtown Lahaina and 10-15 minutes from Ka'anapali. The only downside was an issue with ants in the kitchen. They are the smallest ants and would show up if you didn't wipe up any water and clean every dish/utensil. We would definitely rent this unit again. Also, I really like a cool unit to escape the intense Hawaiian heat. The air conditioning in this unit was great. The bed was comfortable and the unit is well kept.

Our family of six adults enjoyed every moment in this beautiful property. Located directly oceanfront, the view was second to none. The property was in perfect condition and had plenty of space for everyone to stretch out. No sandy beach here, it it was a short drive to several options. We had breakfast every morning on the lanai and also prepared some dinners as well. Trip highlights were the drive to the top of Haleakala, Atlantis submarine tour, the cute town of Paia, Feast of Lele luau, and beach trips to Kaanapali, Napili Bay, and Kapalua. A great trip!

Puamana was the perfect spot for our family. We had our kids; their spouses, and an infant. Home was well equipped to handle all our needs. A easy I walk into Lahina. Sunsets were fabulous. We will return.

The condo was beautifully updated with soft warm colors, gorgeous tiled showers, a fantastic fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, was very clean and offered everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. And to top it off, it was right on the shore with amazing views! In addition, the reservation, check in and check out processes were very smooth and professional. The location was perfect as we were close to great restaurants and shopping and were able to enjoy activities such as snorkeling, snuba tour and a zipline. We loved our stay and hope to return soon!
